Bitcoin Stays Above $75,000 as April Runs Out

Bitcoin's long-awaited April slide toward $75,000 has not arrived. The month is nearly over, and the late pullback that once looked plausible has faded as the asset continues to hold above that threshold.

The story is now about time and resilience. Bitcoin can still move violently, but the calendar has narrowed the window for a break lower, and each session that closes above the target makes the late-month dip harder to sustain.

The related Polymarket contract has moved from 46.5% to 23.5% in a single day, a 23 percentage point reversal. That shift captures how quickly expectations changed once the end-of-month clock became the dominant fact.

Activity around the question was heavy, with $237,268.33 traded in a single day. The contract is no longer simply asking whether Bitcoin can weaken; it is asking whether enough selling pressure can arrive before April runs out.

The setup is still technically open, but it now requires a sharp catalyst and sustained pressure in a compressed window. Without that, the $75,000 level remains more like an abandoned target than an imminent destination.

Earlier confidence in a late dip made sense when there was more calendar left. Bitcoin has a history of fast reversals, and a move toward $75,000 would not have been unusual if weakness had appeared earlier in the month.

That weakness has not shown up with enough force. The remaining path is narrow, and the burden has shifted from expecting a routine pullback to needing a decisive break before the month closes.

For now, April is turning into a test of patience for anyone still waiting on the dip. Bitcoin has stayed elevated longer than the contract's early pricing suggested, and the final stretch leaves little room for hesitation.
