Privacy Policy

Prediction Market Network keeps data collection limited. This page describes the main categories of information the site may process.

Information We Process

When you visit the site, our hosting and infrastructure providers may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser metadata, request paths, timestamps, and server logs needed to operate and secure the service.

Cookies And Sessions

PMN uses a restricted admin session cookie for authenticated editorial access, and session tokens to keep signed-in readers logged in. Reading PMN does not require an account; creating one is optional and unlocks features such as saved stories.

PMN also sets a first-party analytics cookie (mpn_did, retained for about 13 months) containing a random identifier so we can understand how often readers return. This identifier is stored only in hashed form on our servers, is never shared with or sold to third parties, and is not used for advertising.

Accounts And The iOS App

If you create an account (with email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Google), we process your email address and an account identifier to provide account features such as saved stories. If you enable push notifications in the iOS app, we store your device's push token, linked to your account, solely to deliver notifications. This data is used for app functionality only — we do not use it for advertising or tracking, and we do not sell it. You can delete your account and its associated data at any time in the iOS app (Profile > Delete Account) or by emailing support@predictionmarketnetwork.com.

How We Use Data

We use operational data to deliver pages, protect the site, troubleshoot errors, and administer the editorial system. We do not sell personal information through the website.

We measure aggregate site usage — pages viewed, how far stories are read, and which links are clicked — using self-hosted, privacy-focused analytics that we operate ourselves. This measurement does not store IP addresses, precise location, or raw browser fingerprints, and no usage data is sent to third-party analytics companies.

Third-Party Services

PMN depends on external infrastructure and data providers. Those providers may process information under their own privacy terms when you interact with their services.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes should be reflected on this page.
