Elon Musk posted 850 times about race in recent months, according to a Washington Post analysis published in April, highlighting his near-daily posting frequency. His output in the week ending May 22 appears to be falling short of a densely posted pace, based on available tracker data.
The Washington Post found that Musk’s online posts about race had reached record levels, with an average of nearly 10 posts per day on the subject. Separately, a marketing analytics firm estimated Musk typically posts 8 to 12 times per day across all topics, with weekly totals ranging from 56 to 84 posts.
Musk was active on X as recently as May 13, when he posted from Beijing. But the cumulative count for the May 15–22 window is not yet publicly confirmed by official sources, leaving the exact tally uncertain.
Given Musk’s typical posting frequency of 8 to 12 per day, reaching 220 tweets in a week would require roughly three times his usual output, a pace that his recent posting history does not support.
The final two days of the window will settle the count, though no official tally has been released. Musk’s May 13 post from Beijing confirms he was active just before the period began.
